Home Based Care Service
Home Care on Call has been established to meet an existing service gap in the aged care and disability sectors. As an On Call service, we meet the needs of families with family members who require to continue to live in their family. We provide a full range of in-home respite services and support, in-home direct care and community access support.
Our Principles
The principles of Home Care on Call have a combination of nursing, aged care and disability experience and qualifications. Our experience in working with families has given us an insight into the difficulties that occur for a family with a family member who requires high-level care and where the family carers require respite from time to time.
Flexibility
As a total On-Call service we provide flexibility in terms of both regular and pre-arranged support, as well as meeting one-off needs. Home Care On Call operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across the full year. On-Call are recruited on the basis of their qualifications, experience and dedication to meeting the care needs of those whom they serve.
Service Coverage
Our service coverage is metroplitan-wide and a particular feature of our carers is that we recruit bilingual staff. Our languages currently spoken are English, Greek and Italian. We emphasise the importance of the differing cultural expectations associated with home-based care.
